Man charged with shooting his uncle to death at Central NY home

Warren, N.Y. — A 23-year-old man has been charged with shooting his 50-year-old uncle to death this weekend at a home in rural Herkimer County.
The man, Nikolai S. Tazin, used a shotgun to shoot and kill his uncle, Andrey M. Tarasenko, according to Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the State Police.
Tarasenko was trying to flee from the property at the time of the shooting, Jiron said. Troopers found him dead in his vehicle.
